About the project
The photo shoot for the SMYK brand was realised in cooperation with the We Do Better agency as part of the "School is Everywhere" campaign. The photos were taken in picturesque, outdoor locations, building a relaxed and natural atmosphere for the campaign based on children's energy, movement and authentic emotions. The main aim was to show the brand's new collections in a light, lifestyle form balancing between a lookbook aesthetic and a documentary-like observation of children's interactions. Marcin Nasternak was responsible for the cinematography, focusing on natural light, emotions and unforced frames building a sense of freedom and closeness to nature. On set, we worked with a group of twelve children who quickly became part of the world created by the team, full of idyll, spontaneity and holiday energy. The result was a campaign combining the fashion character of the SMYK brand with an authentic image of childhood, full of movement and emotion.
