About the project
The campaign for Smyk was created in collaboration with the We Do Better agency and was based on the concept of a back to school collection. The starting point was the styling and clothing designed by the brand, and the narrative axis became the demonstration that school can be found anywhere regardless of location. The protagonists are children who go out into the world and discover it surrounded by nature, giving everyday spaces a magical, imaginative dimension. We shot outdoors, including in a meadow, building a visual world based on lightness, freedom and children's imagination. A crew of more than 40 people and a child actor cast worked on set. Sara Bustamante-Drozdek was the director and Kacper Zięba was responsible for the cinematography. The result is a campaign that combines fashion with a story about discovering the world and shows school as an experience that can happen anywhere.
